Ronald C. Chen, MD, MPH, FASCO, of the University of Kansas Medical Center, presents health-related quality of life (HRQoL) data from the AMBASSADOR trial, which showed that in patients with high-risk muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma after radical surgery, adjuvant pembrolizumab for 1 year approximately doubled disease-free survival, causes fatigue and dyspnea which modestly impacted physical function and ability to perform certain roles (such as work and hobbies), without impact on overall quality of life (Abstract 4513).

Peter Schmid, MD, PhD, FRCP, on ER-Positive HER2-Negative Early Breast Cancer: Giredestrant by Menopausal Status

Peter Schmid, MD, PhD, FRCP, of Queen Mary University of London, shares more data from the phase III lidERA BC clinical trial. This analysis focused on the efficacy and safety of giredestrant in patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer, looking at both premenopausal and postmenopausal populations (Abstract 502).

Jame Abraham, MD, FACP, of Cleveland Clinic, offers his thoughts on findings from OPTIMA (Optimal Personalised Treatment of early breast cancer using Multi-parameter Analysis), an international randomized controlled trial comparing chemotherapy decisions made with the Prosigna (PAM50) gene expression test with standard treatment in mostly node-positive patients with high clinical risk ER-positive HER2-negative early breast cancer (Abstract 500).

Thomas A. Jandl, MD, PhD, on DLBCL: First-Line Odronextamab Plus Chemotherapy

Thomas A. Jandl, MD, PhD, of Stony Brook University Hospital, discusses data from part 1B of the OLYMPIA-3 trial, which showed that among patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the safety profile of the first-line combination of odronextamab and CHOP chemotherapy was generally manageable and preliminary efficacy was encouraging, with no meaningful differences between regimens. Additionally, combination with odronextamab did not impact the delivery of CHOP (Abstract 7009).

Lucy Gilbert, MD, on Overall Survival by Prior Taxane Use in the Phase III ROSELLA Trial

Lucy Gilbert, MD, of McGill University Health Centre, discusses subgroup analyses from the ROSELLA study. Relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel demonstrated a statistically and clinically significant overall survival benefit in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer compared to a weekly taxane; subgroup analyses for overall survival showed a consistent benefit favoring the addition of relacorilant to nab-paclitaxel irrespective of prior taxane use (Abstract 5503).
