Fox Chase Cancer Center recently announced two new appointments in its Department of Medicine.

Christopher J. Manley, MD, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center as the Director of Interventional Pulmonology in the Department of Medicine.
“Dr. Manley’s expertise in pulmonary medicine makes him the perfect candidate for our new Director of Interventional Pulmonology,” said David S. Weinberg, MD, MSc, Chair of the Department of Medicine at Fox Chase.
Dr. Manley joins Fox Chase after finishing his interventional pulmonology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Previously, he completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at Loyola University in Chicago. He received his medical degree with honors in research and bioethics from Loyola University.
In addition, Dr. Manley has participated in various medical and humanitarian missions, including travel to the Dominican Republic with the Institute for Latin American Concern’s ENT Clinic and to Zambia, Africa with Habitat for Humanity International.

Kristen J. Scully Manley, MD, has joined the Department of Medicine as a hospitalist at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
“Dr. Manley’s excellence in patient care is evident by her many accolades,” said Dr. Weinberg. “We very much look forward to working with her.”
Dr. Manley most recently served as a member of the hospitalist team in the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where she was honored as Clinician of the Year in 2015.
She assumed her position at Fox Chase in August 2016. ■
