APPLICATIONS ARE now being accepted for ASCO’s 2018 Health Policy Fellowship program. The Health Policy Fellowship aims to provide oncology fellows and early-career physicians with the necessary skills to shape cancer policy and to help increase the involvement of ASCO members in policy, advocacy, and grassroots activity.
Applications can be submitted online through ASCO’s Grants Portal (https://grants.conquer.org) and will be open until December 30.
ASCO is actively recruiting oncologists in the early phase of their careers who have a keen interest in acquiring stronger health policy skills and have the leadership, civic, policy, or advocacy experience for this year-long program. ASCO members should encourage early-career colleagues to apply for this opportunity.
Up to two fellows will be selected for the 2018–2019 ASCO Health Policy Fellowship program, which will start on July 1, 2018, and run until July 1, 2019.
