Ann Partridge, MD, MPH

Ann Partridge, MD, MPH, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, was named the recipient of the 2024 ESMO Award during the opening session of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2024 in Barcelona. The international award recognizes her work and commitment to the field of breast cancer, which has led to significant advancements in understanding breast cancer and caring for those who develop the disease around the world.

Dr. Partridge is the founder and Director of the Program for Young Adults with Breast Cancer, Director of the Adult Survivorship Program, and Vice Chair of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber. Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Partridge holds the Eric P. Winer, MD, Chair in Breast Cancer Research at Dana-Farber. Dr. Partridge’s clinical research focuses on improving the care and outcomes of patients with breast cancer, with an emphasis on treatment, survivorship, and psychosocial issues.

The esteemed award was established in 1985 to recognize outstanding contributions to the development of medical oncology by promoting it as a specialty within the European and international community.
