Pasi A. Jänne, MD, PhD
THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY for Medical Oncology (ESMO) has chosen Pasi A. Jänne, MD, PhD, to receive the ESMO Translational Research Award for his research contributions in lung cancer. Dr. Jänne is Director of the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology and Director of the Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is also Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Jänne’s research combines laboratory-based studies with translational research in patients with lung cancer. ■
