The third edition of The MD Anderson Manual of Medical Oncology was recently published, offering detailed updates on the personalized multidisciplinary approach to cancer management and treatment of common and rare cancers by specialists at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The textbook reflects the most recent advancements in the evolving area of chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and biologic and immune therapies of cancer. It emphasizes continuing developments in diagnostic procedures and reinforces how imaging and molecular profiling can help modify and improve upon existing treatment regimens or invasive surgery.
