Physician leader and clinical and translational investigator Saad Z. Usmani, MD, MBA, FACP, recently joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) as Chief of Myeloma Service. He was also appointed Professor at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Saad Z. Usmani, MD, MBA, FACP
Dr. Usmani, whose focus is hematologic cancers in general and multiple myeloma in particular, has led the clinical development of several novel immunotherapeutics and small molecules for multiple myeloma. His research has concentrated on the prognostic role of novel imaging, identifying mechanisms and biomarkers of resistance to novel agents.
He was previously Clinical Professor of Medicine at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina.
