Kelly M. McMasters, MD, PhD
THE SOCIETY OF SURGICAL ONCOLOGY has announced Kelly M. McMasters, MD, PhD, will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Surgical Oncology, effective March 2018. Dr. McMasters will oversee the print and online editions of the journal and, with Mark Roh, MD, Executive Editor, will lead the publication’s editorial roster of leaders in surgical oncology. Dr. McMasters begins his position in conjunction with the journal’s 25th anniversary and the retirement of founding Editor-in-Chief Charles M. Balch, MD, who shepherded the publication to prominence in the field of surgical oncology.
Dr. McMasters is the Ben A. Reid, Sr, MD, Professor and Chair of the Hiram C. Polk, Jr, MD, Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. ■
