David W. Chang, MD, FACS, an authority on the surgical treatment of lymphedema, was recently appointed Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago Medicine.
Dr. Chang has played a key role in introducing the procedure known as lymphaticovenular bypass, a novel treatment for lymphedema, to U.S. operating rooms. He was previously Professor of Plastic Surgery, Deputy Chair of the Department, and Director of the Plastic Surgery Clinic and the Center for Microsurgery Research and Education at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. ■
