Robin Zon, MD, FACP, FASCO
MICHIANA HEMATOLOGY Oncology has announced that Robin Zon, MD, FACP, FASCO, has been elected President by its shareholders. In her new role as President, Dr. Zon will oversee and maintain leadership of the practice.
Dr. Zon is a member of ASCO and was awarded Fellow status; with ASCO, she served on the Board of Directors and chaired several committees, including the Clinical Practice Committee and the Government Relations Committee. For the Government Relations Committee, she frequently travels to Washington, DC to meet with congressional staff and regulatory agencies to promote legislation and funding that benefits all patients with cancer and their providers.
In 2017, Dr. Zon received the Advocate of the Year Award. In 2018, she received advocacy awards from ASCO for her work on behalf of patients and their cancer care teams. ■
