Breast cancer deaths in young women aged 20-49 have significantly declined from 2010 to 2020, with marked drops after 2016 across all subtypes and racial/ethnic groups. Luminal A subtype had the most notable decline, while non-Hispanic Black women experienced the highest incidence-based mortality. Dr. Adetunji Toriola presented these findings at the 2025 American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting.
