A recent prospective study presented at the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting suggests that consuming a less inflammatory diet and engaging in regular physical activity may be associated with better overall survival in patients with stage III colon cancer. The study found that patients with high pro-inflammatory diets had a significantly higher risk of death, while those with less inflammatory diets and higher exercise frequency had lower risk of death. These findings highlight the potential impact of diet and exercise on colon cancer outcomes.
