OneOncology Expands Executive Leadership Team

ONEONCOLOGY, a clinical partnership between three community oncology practices—Tennessee Oncology, New York Cancer and Blood, and West Cancer Center, and other independent community oncologists, recently announced three new appointments to the group's executive team: Natalie Dickson, MD, as Chief Medical Officer; Garrick Bernstein, as Chief Financial Officer; and David Stewart, as Chief Information Officer.

DR. DICKSON, who also serves as Chief Medical Officer of Tennessee Oncology, has been appointed as Chairperson of OneCouncil, OneOncology’s clinical advisory and governance board. OneCouncil comprises oncologists from each practice in the network and directs the office of the Chief Medical Officer as well as the OneOncology executive team on clinical and strategic initiatives.

As Chief Medical Officer at Tennessee Oncology, Dr. Dickson has overseen quality and safety initiatives, process improvements, value-based programs, and regulatory affairs. Dr. Dickson has also maintained an active hematology-oncology practice for the past 19 years with an interest in breast cancer.

REPORTING DIRECTLY to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bernstein has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of OneOncology. Mr. Bernstein will lead all finance, accounting, real estate, and investor relations functions. As a member of the executive leadership team, he will play a role in the strategic development of the company, including executing practice partnerships and other key strategic growth initiatives.

MR. STEWART, Chief Information Officer, is responsible for defining and delivering information technology strategies and capabilities, including infrastructure, security, and technical services, across OneOncology and its practice partners. He will also provide oversight and direction to business leaders on technologic strategy, standards, and building economies of scale. In addition to his decades of health-care experience, Mr. Stewart’s information technology portfolio spans the financial services and manufacturing industries. Most recently, Mr. Stewart was Chief Information Officer of Tennessee Oncology.
