Stephen Gottschalk, MD
Stephen Gottschalk, MD, has been named Chair of the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. In his new position, Dr. Gottschalk will be responsible for management of the Department’s clinical, research, and educational activities. He will join St. Jude in August 2017.
A distinguished clinician and scientist in the areas of bone marrow transplantation and cancer immunotherapy, Dr. Gottschalk comes to St. Jude from the Center of Cell and Gene Therapy and the Texas Children’s Cancer Center, which he joined in 2001. He has served as Director of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center Basic and Translational Research Division since 2012. ■
