Claudia J. Kasales, MD, MHA, FACR
Fox Chase Cancer Center has announced the hiring of Claudia J. Kasales, MD, MHA, FACR, who will join the Department of Diagnostic Imaging as Professor on the academic clinician track. Dr. Kasales began work at Fox Chase on February 1, 2020.
Dr. Kasales comes to Fox Chase from Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she was Professor of Radiology and Vice Chair of Health System Integration at its breast center and Department of Radiology. She received her medical degree from the Penn State College of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Bryn Mawr Hospital, a residency in diagnostic radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. For the past 5 years, she has focused her practice on breast imaging.
Dr. Kasales has been awarded a number of grants and has presented at major international radiology meetings, including the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiological Society of North America. She has authored or coauthored several imaging-related book chapters and has been an invited guest lecturer on numerous occasions. Dr.Kasales is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Breast Imaging; she also is a Fellow in the American College of Radiology.
