Jay T. Bishoff, MD
Jay T. Bishoff, MD, has been named Director of Urology for Northwell Health’s Central New York Region, with oversight of urology sites in Nassau County and parts of eastern Queens. He also is Professor of Urology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Based at Northwell’s The Smith Institute of Urology—with affiliations at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center—Dr. Bishoff treats patients with urologic cancer using the latest, least invasive robotic and laparoscopic techniques. He is an expert in developing programs for quality improvement to increase better health outcomes. His areas of research and interest include cancer of the prostate, kidney, adrenal gland, and testis.
