ASCO launched its Practice Engagement Program to help administrators, physicians, and other members of the care team navigate ASCO tools, programs, and resources available to help oncology practices respond to the changes occurring in the cancer care delivery system.

The Practice Engagement Program acts as a concierge service and provides one key contact available by phone, e-mail, or even site visits. This aims to help practices learn more about the specific ASCO services and programs that can best support their needs.

The Practice Engagement Team can answer questions, such as:

  • “Does ASCO have resources to help us improve our Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) score?”
  • “How can my practice benchmark our performance against other practices on business and operations metrics?”
  • “Can ASCO help my practice transition from volume-based to value-based care?”
  • “How can I demonstrate my practice’s commitment to quality?”

After understanding the needs of each specific practice, the Practice Engagement Program point of contact can identify specific ASCO resources to help practices resolve challenges, prepare for pending changes, and succeed in an ever-changing practice environment.
