There is less than 1 month left to participate in this year’s ASCO Practice Census— the only annual survey of the entire U.S. oncology practice community that aims to identify changes in cancer care and oncology practice over time. It is crucial that practices in all settings across the United States—community practices, hospitals, academic institutions, and health systems—provide feedback in the 2017 ASCO Practice Census. This helps ASCO to fully understand how the cancer care landscape is evolving and best support the oncology community as it faces the transformative, widespread changes occurring in today’s practice environment.
This year’s survey has 20 easy-to-answer questions covering major topics affecting oncology practices today, including:
- Practice pressures
- Opioid policies
- Clinical trial participation
- Electronic health record interoperability
- Coverage and reimbursement.
Thank you to those who have already participated in the census. For those who haven’t—it’s not too late to ask your practice or institution to take part!
