Fox Chase Welcomes Cihangir Duy, PhD, MS

Fox Chase Cancer Center recently welcomed Cihangir Duy, PhD, MS, who has joined the Cancer Signaling and Epigenetics Program as Assistant Professor. Before coming to Fox Chase, Dr. Duy was Instructor in Cell and Developmental Biology at Weill Cornell Medicine Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York City. He completed his postdoctoral studies at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he studied the epigenome and organoids. He recently received a grant from the Alternatives Research & Development Foundation to further develop these organoid models.

Cihangir Duy, PhD, MS

Dr. Duy graduated summa cum laude from the University of Düsseldorf in Germany, where he received his MS degree. His doctoral studies focused on cancer biology and immunology at the University of Southern California, and his thesis featured the Philadelphia chromosome.
