Between the onslaught of bills and the endless stream of tests and appointments, managing cancer treatment can be overwhelming.  There needs to be a good organizing system in place from the very first oncologist appointment.

No one understood this better than the Founder of Vital Options International (VOI) Selma Schimmel. Diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 and later in her 50s, with ovarian cancer, Selma spent more than 30 years entrenched in the medical system, as both a patient and advocate.

In honor of Selma’s work, VOI has teamed with Dorothy Breininger (aka “Dorothy The Organizer”), a best-selling author and problem-solver on the A&E show Hoarders, to compile Selma’s tips for managing one’s care and treatment into a short, handy eBook called The Cancer Concierge, available at www.thecancerconcierge.org.
