Cancer and its treatments can lead to burdensome symptoms affecting patients' quality of life and treatment outcomes, such as fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Evidence suggests that mind-body therapies and exercise can effectively manage such symptoms. Despite guideline recommendations, barriers hinder patient access to these therapies. The digital synchronous intervention, IM@Home, showed promising results in reducing fatigue, anxiety, and depression, along with minimizing emergency department visits and hospitalizations in cancer patients. Further trials are required to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of digitally delivered therapies in this patient subset.
