The Board of Directors for the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research is currently accepting applications for its 2022 honorees. Established in 2020 in memory of His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan, the award promotes and celebrates cancer research efforts across the Arab world, with recognition of leading Arab researchers, both established and promising, who are making outstanding contributions to our understanding of cancer.

The 2022 honors are being awarded in four categories: Research Grant (which provides funding for 2-year research proposals), Clinical Program Excellence (which recognizes programs affiliated with or hosted by a medical school, accredited hospital, or cancer center in the Arab world), Lifetime Achievement (available in both regional and international tracks), and Young Investigator (also available in regional and international tracks).

The deadline for applications is May 31, 2022. For more information about the award and how to nominate a colleague or clinical program, visit https://www.kinghusseincanceraward.jo/en.
