WOMEN WHO CONQUER CANCER (WWCC) funds the promising careers of the best and brightest women researchers through the Conquer Cancer Foundation’s Young Investigator Award (YIA) program. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, five awards were granted in 2017. Right now, gifts to the WWCC Endowment Fund are being matched (up to $233,500) for twice the impact. These funds will help ensure women researchers have the resources they need to conquer cancer well into the future.

Women continue to be vastly underrepresented in the cancer research field, and funding for cancer research is in dramatic decline. This is why WWCC is uniquely positioned. The program invests in young female researchers, providing them with the initial boost they need to start and build a fruitful career. WWCC stands in the gap, assisting early-career physicians during the final years of training to support their transition to a faculty appointment and to encourage quality research in clinical oncology.

Double your impact today by donating to support an endowed WWCC Young Investigator Award. Gifts received through June 30, 2018, are eligible. To learn more, visit CONQUER.ORG/WWCCMatch. ■
