In the first quarter of 2015, the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) will become a member-based organization. Member organizations will have unlimited access to CAPC tools, training, and hands-on technical assistance. At that time, CAPC will launch the first of its online curricula, broken into three specialized silos:

  • Pain Management (eg, pain assessment, opioid conversions, match the drug class to the pain)
  • Communication Skills (eg, discussing serious news, discussing prognosis, conducting a family meeting)
  • Operational (eg, what is palliative care, designing your hospital-based program, building a business plan)
