A single infusion of the chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy ciltacabtagene autoleucel led to a 100% measurable residual disease–negativity rate in patients with high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma, according to results from CAR-PRISM, a phase II clinical trial, presented at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2026.
